The kids are exhausted. There's absolutely nothing more that we can do at this airport. Now I say we go over to Rob's, and that way we can call the police again. And they can get back to us. This house is just crazy.
Their drivers, who are waiting downstairs, are being harassed by a neighbourhood kid. Not strictly part of the soundtrack but still fun. The beginning of this song is the dialogue where Buzz is trying to scare Kevin and their cousin with tales about who Old Man Marley really is. Kevin McCallister, at first enjoying the freedom of being alone, soon learns how much family matters when his home is the target of two bandits.
Silent Night, Holy Terror
Kevin wonders whether or not he'll have a merry Christmas without his family . Bonny Light Horseman's "Deep in Love" was featured twice in the movie, with the 2nd time... Would anyone know the song where Kit and Michael and kissing in the club lounge? After being left alone, Kevin lip syncs to this in front of the bathroom mirror while getting ready for his day. Opens with Buzz admitting to eating Kevin's cheese pizza, and Fuller being told to go easy on the Pepsi. Contains various other snippets of dialogue from other characters.

All this time I've been worried about it, but if you turn on the lights, it's no big deal. I've always been afraid of our basement. It's dark, there's weird stuff down there, and it smells funn; that sort of thing. It's bothered me for years. No, no, no, no way. The season of perpetual hope.
O Holy Night Lyrics
Putting the Johnny Mathis cover of "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" inHome Alone 2was a great decision. The song's self-explanatory title invites listeners to look around and notice the little Yuletide touches everywhere. "Star of Bethlehem" is yet another impressive choral piece that is featured prominently inHome Alone. The text of the song illuminates the characteristics of the historic Christmas star. The elderly gentleman is estranged from his son and cannot spend time with his granddaughter, who is singing in the choir.

But I did leave one at a funeral parlor once. Yeah, it was terrible, too. I was all distraught and everything. The wife and I, we left the little tyke there in the funeral parlor all day. You know, we went back at night, when we came to our senses, there he was. Apparently, he was there all day with a corpse.

Like Marley in Charles Dickens’s Christmas Carol, he has been weighed down by the chain of his sins and he is now loosed from them. All lyrics are property and copyright of their respective authors, artists and labels. Most importantly, viewers can listen for the haunting tune in the score of the movie. It is interwoven with the increase of suspense in Kevin's story.

With a snow shovel. Been hiding out in this neighborhood ever since. All kids, no parents. Probably a fancy orphanage. In the final scene of the film, Marley, has reunited with his estranged son and Kevin waves to him.
Home Alone: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
I just wanted to let you know that your power is fixed, but the phone lines are a mess. It's going to take around a couple of days to patch them up, especially around the holidays. I hope you don't mean that. You'd feel pretty sad if you woke up tomorrow morning and you didn't have a family. Not enough evidence to convict.
Fans don't seem to be too attached to this one as it doesn't figure into the story of the movies. The only flying I ever did as a kid was in the family station wagon, and it wasn't to France. We used to have to go to Aunt Laura and Uncle Arthur's house.
So we're just checking the neighborhood to see if everyone's taking the proper precautions; that's all. He walks up and down the street every night, salting the sidewalks. Back in '58, he murdered his whole family and half the people on his block...
They're having the time of their lives. My husband's brother transferred to Paris last summer and both of his kids are still going to school here, and I guess he missed the whole family. He's giving us all this trip to Paris for the holidays, so we can be together. The first image that we see Kevin looking at is a statue of St. Padre Pio, with Cross in hand and Rosary beads attached. Additionally, two songs, "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Run Rudolph Run", are featured in the film but not on the soundtrack.
